The first ASEAN+ Rare Disease Network has been established, bringing together patients support groups from across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam) and Hong Kong. The mission of this network is to better understand the needs of the rare disease patients and their caregivers in the region, in order to identify areas for improvement and moblise community involvement and humanitarian solutions.
RDSS is pleased to be part of the network. We hope to bring a change to the rare community and learn from the region so that we could improve in our support and services to the rare disease patients in Singapore.
