RDSS organised the very first fund raising event at KKH. Over $20,000 was raised through this event and proceeds went to KKH Health Endowment Fund.

Among the performers was a boy diagnosed with Gaucher disease. He has to undergo an expensive enzyme replacement treatment that cost few hundred thousand dollars every year. Our society hopes to seek sustainable treatment for all patients diagnosed with LSD (Lysosomal Storage Disease) diseases.

To date, we have 3 children and 5 adults diagnosed with LSD in Singapore with 3 of the adults still waiting for treatment.
